Venue Rental Terms & Conditions





1.    VENUE RENTAL FEE(S)

The Client(s) or Representative for the Client(s), agree to pay an initial non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total of all fees. This payment serves to hold the venue for the specified date of {{job.start | mediumDate}} and is payable at the time of contract signature. An additional $250.00 refundable security deposit must be paid prior to the event and will be returnable to the client (s) up to two weeks after the event has been held once the property has been inspected for any potential damage from the event. The remaining agreed upon venue rental fees will be due (30) days prior to the date of the event. Payments may be made via zelle, venmo, cashapp, cash delivery, certified check, or credit card (additional fees will apply).


2.    DATE CHANGES

In the event the Client (s) is forced to change the date of the event every effort will be made by Unique Touch Events, LLC to transfer to support the new date. The Client(s) agrees that in the event of a date change any expenses including but not limited to deposits and fees that are non-refundable and nontransferable are the sole responsibility of the Client(s). The Client(s) further understands that last minute changes can impact the quality of the event and that Unique Touch Events, LLC is not responsible for these compromises in quality.


3.    CANCELLATIONS

In the event of a cancellation of a special event, all payments made to date are non-refundable and all outstanding payments will be due immediately. We understand that sometimes it is necessary to change or cancel. All cancellations or changes must be made in writing. The guest is responsible for verifying that Unique Touch Events, LLC, has received their cancellation letter. The execution of this contract on behalf of Unique Touch Events, LLC shall be contingent upon acts of God, flood, fire, warfare, government laws or regulations, electrical failure, strikes by suppliers, and/or conditions beyond its control.


4.    LIABILITY

Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Unique Touch Events, LLC, its landlord, building owners, officers, employees, and agents harmless of and from any liabilities, costs, penalties, or expenses arising out of and/or resulting from the rental and use of the premises, including but not limited to, the personal guarantee of provision, service, and dispensing of payment by renter, its employees, and agents of alcoholic beverages at Unique Touch Events, LLC. In the event Unique Touch Events, LLC, its landlord, building owners, officers, employees and/or agents, are required to file an action in court in order to enforce any provisions of this agreement, renter agrees to pay Unique Touch Events, LLC, its officers, landlord, building owners, employees and/or agents, all reasonable attorney fees, court fees, and costs of suit incurred by Unique Touch Events, LLC, including all collection expenses and interest due.


5.    CATERING STANDARDS

Insurance/credit card—All caterers working at Unique Touch Events, LLC are required to have a valid certificate of insurance. Caterers must remove all trash, composting and recyclables from the site and place in the dumpster. All trash must be collected, properly bagged and removed. Failure to remove or clean will result in additional fees to the client.

6.    GUEST COUNT

Final guest count changes MUST be submitted in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to your event and although changes may be made to your guest list up to two (2) days prior to your event, no refunds will be given.


7.    CONDUCT

There is absolutely no drug use or smoking of any kind tolerated on premises or within 25 feet of the building including loitering or congregating outside on the sidewalk at any time during the event. Disparaging remarks or any type of physical violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for immediate expulsion.

Renter and guests shall use the premises in a considerate manner at all times. During underage events, such as school dances, we prefer that underage individuals do not have in and out privileges. All children under the age of 16 MUST be supervised at all times! Conduct deemed disorderly at the sole discretion of Unique Touch Events, LLC staff shall be grounds for immediate expulsion from the premises and conclusion of the rental period. In such cases, NO refund of the event costs shall be made.

8.    LIVE MUSIC/DJ's/NOISE

Unique Touch Events, LLC encourages music and lots of dancing! However, please be aware that the premises are located near residential units and therefore neighborhood noise regulations do apply. In the event that renter’s event creates a disturbance due to high noise volume, Unique Touch Events, LLC onsite manager has full authority to ask the renter, DJ or live music presenter to turn the entertainment down and/or off. If repeated disturbances are created, at Unique Touch Events, LLC's discretion, the renter may be expelled from the premises or the offending noise will be ended. In the event of disturbances to the point of expulsion, no portion of the event costs will be refunded to the renter. Loud music must end by the identified end time listed above.

Additional time can easily be added provided the volume is modest and it cannot be heard beyond the boundaries of the property or by immediate neighbors.

9.    LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT AND STORAGE

All load-ins and load-outs must take place within the designated time frame given by Unique Touch Events, LLC. If there is an event prior to yours a timed delivery will be required. Unique Touch Events, LLC is not responsible for checking in or handling any items brought into the venue by rental companies. All external items must be checked in and signed for by the client or client’s representative. All excess material (such as bubble wrap, boxes, hangers, plastic, etc.) created by deliveries must be removed and disposed of by the rental company, client, or client’s representative. Limited storage is available upon request. Storage fees will be applied to any items left overnight or beyond normal load-in/load-out times. This also applies to items left post-event for shipment out via courier. Note: It is not the responsibility of Unique Touch Events, LLC to ensure that pick-ups are scheduled and executed.


10.    CLEANING, TRASH AND EQUIPMENT REMOVAL

Unique Touch Events, LLC will be in a clean condition prior to your event. Within one (1) hour following the event, you are required to return the space to the same clean condition in which it was found. All trash must be taken to the dumpster located behind the event center. Unique Touch Events, LLC encourages those renting space to consider green, sustainable, fair trade, ecologically sound cleaning and zero waste solutions. All rental equipment must be removed immediately following your event.


11.    DECORATIONS

Unique Touch Events, LLC wants to make every event here a special experience. Therefore every effort will be made to allow the renter to prepare decorations reflecting their creative requirements. We ask that only the staff of Unique Touch Events, LLC rearrange and move any furnishings, including, but not limited to, artwork, lamps, antiques or seating. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items are to be used on our walls or floors. NO glitter or foil (non-paper) confetti is allowed on site. Only low tack tape is allowed on our floors and wall. Any damage will be charged after your event. All decorations must be removed without leaving damages directly following the departure of the last guest unless special arrangements have been made between the Client(s) and the venue. 

All candles must be contained or enclosed in glass. The flame must not reach higher than 2 inches below the height of the glass.

Note: The use of birdseed and blowing bubble is permitted only outside for wedding and reception farewells.  Rice, confetti, flower petals, glitter, pyrotechnics, and sparklers are not permitted inside or outside the facility.


12.    LIQUOR/BEVERAGES/ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES

All liquor must be served by a Unique Touch provided Insured Licensed Bartender.  Alcohol may not be served to minors. Illegal substances are not allowed at any time on the premise. Drunken/Violent disturbances are prohibited and subject to immediate removal from the premise and possible termination of the event without refund.


13.    CITY, COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS

Renter agrees to comply with all applicable City, County, State, and Federal laws and shall conduct no illegal act on the premises. This is a drug-free and non-smoking facility at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS. Renter shall not sell alcohol on premises at any time. Renter may not serve alcohol to minors on the premises at any time. Renter agrees, for everyone’s safety, to ensure alcoholic beverages are consumed in a responsible manner. Unique Touch Events, LLC reserves the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who in its judgment is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who shall in any manner do or participate in any act jeopardizing the rights, use permit, or insurability of Unique Touch Events, LLC or the safety of its staff, guests, or building contents.


14.    ENTRY AND EXIT

Renter agrees that Unique Touch Events, LLC staff may enter and exit premises during the course of the event. A representative of Unique Touch Events, LLC will be on site during your entire event and will be checking periodically with the responsible parties to ensure everything is running smoothly. We will also be checking the bathroom, the overall premises, replenishing hand towels and toilet paper, and will be available for questions or to respond to needs or issues that may arise at any time.


15.    LOST AND FOUND

Unique Touch Events, LLC takes no responsibility for personal effects and possessions left on premises during or after any event. we do, however, maintain a lost and found and will hold recovered items up to 30 days. Every attempt will be made to return any recovered item to its rightful owner. It is important to us that you have a fantastic and successful event.


16.    PROMOTIONS AND COPYRIGHT

This venue uses live, video and still photography to assist with promotion of the venue. All photos were taken at Unique Touch Events, LLC by your photographer, Unique Touch staff or guests may also be used for promotional purposes. Should Unique Touch Events, LLC be engaged in the promotion or coproduction of your event, it is imperative that we see and approve all marketing messages and communications. We are happy to provide professionally created images of our space for promotional materials. We hope you will refer others here and are happy to answer any questions you might have about the types of events we do.


17.    SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable under the law, the validity of this agreement as a whole shall not be affected, and the other provisions of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect
